In a promotional video, Watson extols the virtues of a golf jet pack – although this hardly seems necessary. “You’re riding by yourself. You don’t have to ride with that annoying golfer that tells you all about his score.” Watson says. “You just watched it. You don’t need to hear about it.”

This “advertising stunt” comes in time to celebrate the news of the sport’s return to the Olympics at Rio in August this year. It has a 200 horsepower engine that can go 50 mph and up to 3,000 feet in the air. If the FAA approves, you could have one for yourself in $200,000.
