At the end of August we can expect Chanel’s new iterations of its cult J12 ceramic watch. The newest timepiece, simply and appropriately named J12 XS (extra small), features a diameter of just 19 millimeters and will be available in four forms. You can choose a black or white version with a patent leather strap that can be worn either on its own or on top of a calfskin cuff in the same color priced at $4,975.
The J12 XS can also be worn with a pair of black lambskin fingerless gloves from Causse, priced $7,550 per pair. This option is inspired by Chanel’s creative director Karl Lagerfeld, who is rarely seen without a fancy pair of gloves. It is limited to only 150 pieces.
The cuff is also available in larger version of six slim black patent leather straps mounted with the watch dial and mobile steel loops set with diamonds. There are also a dozen one-of-a-kind high-jewelry options, with prices ranging from $10,000 to $105,000. Some of the highlights include a novelty ring version, priced $35,000, and hand-decorated cuffs with sequins and glass beads, created by couture embroidery atelier Lesage, priced at $38,000 each.
