This year marks the 100th anniversary of BMW, while it also marks 110 years of fine pen making for Montblanc. Exquisite vehicle – exquisite accessory: the Jubilee Edition of the BMW 7 Series is delivered with an exclusive fountain pen from the house of Montblanc, which is also limited to a series of 100 – the Montblanc for BMW Centennial Fountain Pen.
Owners of the BMW 7 Series Jubilee Edition Will Get Montblanc Pen for Free
The pen has resulted from close cooperation between designers from BMW and Montblanc and is exclusively available with the Jubilee Edition of the BMW 7 Series.
The unmistakable Montblanc icon, the Montblanc Meisterstück, comes with BMW design elements of the new Individual series: The surface structure of the Meisterstück Skeleton Fountain Pen is reminiscent of the quilted seat surfaces in a woven look featured by the BMW 7 Series centennial model. The transparent elements of the fountain pen come in the BMW Individual colour Centennial Blue metallic also chosen as the automobile’s exterior colour. The piston-filled fountain pen’s 18-karat rhodium-plated gold nib bears an engraving of the unique backstitching also found on the BMW Individual Merino leather seats.
