This Beverly Hills property in exclusive Trousdale Estates has just hit the market, priced at a whopping $135 million. An 18,000-square-foot Beverly Hills home on roughly 2½ acres was once owned by comedian Danny Thomas. Listing agent Aaron Kirman, president of Aaroe Estates, the luxury property division of John Aaroe Group said the owner, whom he declined to identify, undertook a “down to the studs” renovation.
The eight-bedroom, 12-bathroom Trousdale Estates mansion boasts 360° views of L.A., from downtown to the canyons. French architect and interior designer Jacques Garcia, who is known for work with the Rothschilds, Versailles and the Louvre, accentuated the Moorish design, added $2.5 million worth of Baccarat chandeliers, gold leaf ceilings, crown moulding, hand-woven carpets, which will be included in the sale. There is an indoor ballroom, a media room, and a motor court that can accommodate 20 cars.
Outside, a second story patio provides a perfect space for entertaining guests or just watching the sunset, while the backyard’s giant swimming pool and adjacent hot tub provide outdoor relief during the summer.
“It has smart home technology and all the bells and whistles that you would expect at this price point,” explained Kirman.
