Forget any bike you’ve ever seen. Bicycle manufacturers Trek unveiled an incredible new bike concept for the future. The rugged design of this hybrid bike, dubbed Zora was created by Steve Baumann, Jon Russell, Hans Eckholm, Michael Hammond and Brian Lindstrom. With these, full of carbon existing machine is able to safely drive you to work. But a piece of mountain biking is also on this bike. Zora is made for both areas.
The bike also needs little maintenance. This is mainly due to the Belt Drive. The bike has no chain as you’re used to. The Belt Drive is also not greasy like a normal chain.
Therefore, you do not have to clean and lubricate again, you still saves some time on Sunday afternoon.
Utilizing carbon fibre, the Trek’s Zora is slim, strong and very light weight. Additions include the LED Strip headlight/taillight and the interface on the cycle’s dashboard.
This is a concept, so it is not yet clear whether and when the bike is coming.
