Loudspeaker producer Raumfeld teamed up with porcelain manufacturer Rosenthal to create world’s first porcelain streaming speaker. The speakers’ teardrop shape optimizes the acoustics from the coaxial speakers, driven by a 160 watt Class D amp. It also has integrated Wi-Fi for app-controlled playback, as well as line-in, Ethernet, and USB inputs.
As it stand, the Raumfeld x Rosenthal Porcelain Speaker is simply a prototype and there’s no official word on whether this’ll actually ever go into production.
