Why not immerse yourself into the ocean wrapped in comfort? DeepFlight presents a new class of personal submarine – Super Falcon 3S. This is actually a larger variant of the original Super Falcon introduced back in 2009.
The 25 feet (7.62 meters) vessel, is the result of the collaboration between submersible specialists DeepFlight and Rainbow Ocean Technology. Together they formed DeepFlight Adventures. It can accommodate a pilot and two passengers encapsulated in cast-acrylic hemispherical canopy , each with his own obstructed 360-degree view. Maximum depth for this submersible is 400 feet (120m).
Propulsion is provided by two electric motors which provide enough thrust for a top speed of 6 knots. A 14 kWh battery provides up to eight hours of power. Like all DeepFlight’s submarines, Super Falcon 3S naturally floats back to the surface.
DeepFlight Adventures is going to start testing and launching this amazing thing in Hawaii, the Maldives, French Polynesia, and the Caribbean, but the first resort outpost is scheduled to open in 2017 at a yet-to-be-announced location.
