Theaters re-conquering the world … but not ordinary. From the open theater in Ibiza, to colorful lazy bag theater in Slovakia, gourmet cuisine theater in France and theater with full-size beds in England, this trend of innovation theater has no plans to slow down. Now, the Manhattan joins this whole story with its new iPic theater which offers a first class experience with a menu designed by Chef Sherry Yard and extremely comfortable seats.
This New York’s part of theater from Florida has eight halls and VIP floor, which is called Premium Plus. This section has a special chair – capsules that offer enough space for two. Those who visit the Premium Plus section of theater will have the opportunity to enjoy unlimited popcorn, blankets and personnel service will take care not to stay hungry and thirsty.
Chef Sherry Yard will serve cheese biscuits, rolls with lobster, chicken, pizza, apple pie and truffles. For those who love snacks, there is a special offer that changes weekly, while those candy lovers will be able to enjoy chocolate specialties.
While in ordinary theater can drink Coke, Sprite, water or something like that, this theater offers a selection of the finest wines, beers and cocktails.
However, isn’t everything perfect in this theater. Gothamist’s writer, Scott Lynch tried the premium option , and concluded that the price is too expensive, and that you feel like you’re in a restaurant rather than at the theater. Probably ordering food, etc. distracts from watching the movie.
