Designer Joey Ruiter’s latest project is called the “Tinnie 10“, and it’s actually a small commuter boat that lends its design to the triangle. “Tinnie 10 side by side vessel,” is built from thick, lightweight, powder-coated aluminum, allowing the featherweight boat to weigh just 173 lbs (79kg). The flooring is made from white oak and the little boat also features Xoral upholstered seating that’s ideal for two.
It’s all powered by a 6hp, 4-stroke motor but can also host an electric motor if desired.
Tinnie 10 justified Ruiter’s vision to create entirely new class of racing: low power; very tight; edge to edge, racing.
