Model for 2017 at 9750 rpm has at its disposal all the 177 horsepower – a real tornado! KTM’s team of designers created a new visual look of the entire Duke family, which is so unique that there is currently no other motorcycle which could be said to resemble Austrian models.
KTM Super Duke R uses an improved LC8 aggregate, has 195 kilograms and seats 835 millimeters high. The 48mm WP fork is new and has heavier spring rates.
Also new is the WP shock, which gets a heavier spring (10N/mm) – both are fully adjustable.
The new Super Duke also has stability control, traction and Bosch ABS system as a standard package, but on the options list are a series of upgrade packs. The Performance option packs in Motor Slip Regulation, a quickshifter+, and MY RIDE. The Track option gives you selectable engine mapping, switchable anti-wheelie, MTC slip control and launch control.
As KTM say, this 2017 Super Duke R is ‘The Beast 2.0’.
