Award-winning independent bottler That Boutique-y Whisky Company (TBWC) have worked with leading retailer Majestic Wines to introduce an exclusive expression and a competition to win bottles of That Boutique-y Whisky Company Macallan 29 Year Old. That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s Blended Whisky #2 Batch 1 is made with whiskies aged for at least 18 years, and features mouthwatering notes of lemon drizzle cake, chewy toffee and oatcakes.
Alongside the release of this exclusive whisky, TBWC and Majestic Wines have also launched a competition, with three bottles of That Boutique-y Whisky Company Macallan 29 Year Old (worth over £500 per bottle) up for grabs. The label of Blended Whisky #2 Batch 1 features a scene inside a Majestic Wines shop (in classic TBWC graphic-novel style) with seven visual clues to the distilleries whose whiskies make up the blend.
Customers looking to enter the competition can buy a bottle of Blended Whisky #2 Batch 1 from Majestic Wines shops and figure out the names of the seven distilleries hinted towards on the label. They must then send a tweet to @MajesticWine and @BoutiqueyWhisky containing the names of the distilleries, as well as their bottle’s unique number and a picture of themselves holding their open bottle. More information can be found on TBWC’s website.
The first three correct entries will win a bottle of That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s independent bottling of Macallan 29 Year Old, of which only 293 bottles were produced.
