Father of former Australian tennis Player Jelena Dokic, Damir Dokic announced the sale of his ranch in Serbia. “This is a good location, close to both Belgrade and Novi Sad. Who are willing to invest in tourism, this property at Fruska Gora mountain will be worth it,” – says Dokic. The property has 18 hectares, house of 540 square meters with a plot of five acres. The house has six bedrooms, five bathrooms, sauna, gym, billiard room, three garages and three terraces.
There is also a pond, tennis court, wine cellar (40 meters long), and stables with boxes for horses.
For the asking price of €1.8 million ($1.9 million), the new owner will get a thirteen and a half acres of orchards with a protected designation of origin.
Jelena Dokic is a Serbian-Australian tennis coach, columnist and former professional player. Her highest ranking was World No. 4 in August 2002.
She is one of the few women to have won WTA tour events on all surfaces: hard, clay, grass and carpet.
Her father, Damir gained some notoriety for causing various incidents. He is a self-proclaimed veteran of the war in Croatia where he fought on the side of the Serb rebels (supported by the JNA). He is also a brandy manufacturer for plum and pear Eagle Brandy.
