Besides GT3 race car, arrives and Mercedes-AMG GT in racing GT4 edition. So, the car has been prepared by the rules FIA GT4 Championship and on the tracks after earlier announcements can be expected next year. In a brief news states that the car is based on road model Mercedes-AMG GT R which was launched earlier this year, whereby in this racing model, among other things, emphasize the aerodynamic package (including a large rear spoiler) and new tires.

So far, no concrete details, but here a reminder that regular GT R is powered by 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine with 430 kW / 577hp and the weight of the vehicle is 1554 kg (on the racing version these figures will certainly be different).
In GT4 class will otherwise take part and other models, including the Ford Mustang, BMW M4 and McLaren 570S.
