Dutch manufacturer of sports car Donkervoort has presented a new GTO-RS version of its D8 seater with rear-wheel drive.
The car is also powered by Audi 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine, but in a brief news doesn’t mention its strength. However, the statement says that it has the highest torque than ever before, and with even better acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h and higher maximum speed. While the standard D8 GTO arrives to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, the D8 GTO-RS is apparently nearing a time of 2.5 seconds.
Also, the car has a sleek front, a revised suspension, as well as a lower coefficient air resistance, adjustable ABS and traction control.
Donkervoort plans to produce a limited edition of only 65 pieces, of which 40 regular version, 15 pieces of “Bare Naked Carbon Edition” and 10 variant of D8 GTO-RS Race Edition.
