Black Orchid by Tom Ford was launched in 2016 and in a short period became very popular worldwide.
“Black orchid is opulent, dark, classic; its scent can be categorized into the best creations of the best perfume houses. A luxurious and sensual scent with a rich dark trail made of black orchid and spices, modern and eternal… This is not a usual orchid, but something much more opulent and rare. I wanted the darkest orchid, which cannot be found easily,” stated Tom Ford on the occasion of launching Black Orchid ten years ago.
Lalique Tom Ford Black Orchid Fragrance
Now, to celebrate the tenth year of its Black Orchid fragrance, Tom Ford released the Black Orchid Lalique Edition, which holds the most concentrated version of the fragrance in a black crystal collector’s bottle. Limited 15 ml flacon created as the ultimate objet d’ art piece of the collection, was signed by designers of the world renowned and highly esteemed house of Lalique. The original tall bottle is refashioned into a wider vintage shape that retains the black fluted glass.
Replacing the square gold plaque reading “Tom Ford Black Orchid” in the original is a strip of golden metal running across the base of the bottle. The classic bottle’s chain wrapped around the neck remains, giving a detail that Black Orchid fans have grown accustomed to. The composition remains unchanged, but highly concentrated.
