Mercedes has made it clear that the GT model is not a substitute for SLS and as belongs to the lower segment, the interrupted series of supercar is left without its successor. But there are still several beautiful copies in the used car market, while not one of them stands out better then 2014 Black Series, the version which is said to be the last ever made. Black Series version of the SLS model is facilitated by 70 kg and was strengthened by around 60hp, enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, before reaching a top speed 315 km/h.

Besides the additional horsepower numbers to woo, SLS AMG Black Series also has a lot of benefit from the reduced weigh, which includes plenty of parts made of carbon fiber and a waiver of several facilities, such as navigation and informative entertainment system.

Set to RM Sotheby’s auction in Paris, scheduled for 8 February next year during the Retromobile Week events, this car in Solar Beam Yellow color had only one owner and only 9,350 kilometers on its odometer. The auction house did not publicly confirm the price of this model, but RM Sotheby’s usually go to plus $500,000, or twice the initial price of $275,000.
