The watch is displayed for the first time two years ago with a fair Baselworld, so Carrera HEUER 01 became a trademark Chrono models of TAG Heuer brand. In 2015 is produced a collection with many new designs, new combinations of materials and colors. For this 2017 edition, sleek chronograph which is a best-selling model of the brand, is completely made of matt black ceramic.

Housing, corona, pedals and a central body (all parts that are exposed to friction) are made of black ceramic. This material offers outstanding resistance to scratches and damage. With the finishing of micro beads provides flawless mystical design. Technically, in order to guarantee perfect water resistance to 100 m depth, steel is always present on all the functional parts of the watch (inner box section, screw-in case back, push-pieces etc.) to enable the gaskets (crystal gasket, case-back gaskets, push-piece gaskets and crowned tube) to fulfil their function.
