Hotels.com has set a new Guinness record, for the fastest bed in the world.
The record was set earlier this month in the United Arab Emirates. British racing diver Tom Onslow-Cole, 29, took the piece of furniture for a spin and broke the Guinness World Record for the World’s Fastest Bed, reaching an astonishing 84mph (135km/h).
This video shows Onslow-Cole getting into the special mobile bed which comes complete with four wheels and an engine. Custom-built bed based on a Ford Mustang GT, and beat the previous record set by TV presenter Edd China, who reached 69mph in 2008 in London as it sped down a private road.
