This is a one time opportunity to purchase the original ‘and now extremely rare’ Guccissima bike by the house of Gucci. This was the first designer bike to be built by Gucci over a decade ago and only a very limited number of prototypes were produced – as far as we are aware this is the first time that this unique model has come up for sale anywhere! It’s a real collectors piece that money cannot normally buy…
This extremely rare model has been part of the Cope & Cabrera private collection. Conceived towards the end of Tom Ford’s reign as creative director and brought to fruition the following year in 2005 – a year prior to Ford’s successor Frida Giannini taking the helm. The ‘cruiser’ bike would have been one of Ford’s final parting masterpieces for Gucci, exuding all the hallmarks of the impresarios inimitable style for sophisticated chic, along with meticulous attention to detail – making this bike the ultimate must-have precious metal!
Whether you decide to ride it or hang it on the wall, it really is a work of art… along with being an amazing investment piece, that’ll make you the envy of the haute couture set.
Exclusively hand-crafted in Italy, it is embellished with Gucci’s signature chocolate brown ‘Guccissima’ leather seat, handlebars, brake grips, seat pack with buckle closure and double pannier travel bag with signature web handle, two compartments with silver closure hardware – all accents hand stitched to Gucci’s exacting standard.
The frame is finished in a dazzling metallic bronze, emblazoned with signature stripes. It also denotes the Gucci script along with large double-G emblems. The attention to detail is quite remarkable right down to the engraved GG on the bell and pump which alone are a treasure!
Other features include chrome identity plaques to rear of seat and front light housing, branded locking keys, kickstand, mud flap, front and rear lighting etc.
The Dutch style Gucci cruiser is in immaculate condition having initially seen only a limited amount of use – as stated the bike has been preserved to a museum standard having been displayed for the past eight years (original tyres still show characteristics of being new).
