The first association for luxury food is caviar and for luxury hotel is Dubai’s iconic Burj Al Arab. So, no wonder why this “7-star hotel” was the place where world’s largest tin of caviar was unveiled.
The team behind the fourth tallest hotel in the world has teamed up with high-end US caviar company AmStur to present this giant tin, packed to the brim with the so-called food of the Czars. Gold-plated tin which smashed the Guinness World Record contains 17.860kg of deep-grey Empress caviar, the world’s only fully certified organic caviar from native-raised sturgeon.
The custom-made tin itself has been named “The Mashenomak” in honour of the “Great White Sturgeon” of Native American legend.
All the guests at the ceremony held on Wednesday had the chance to partake in another record – the world’s largest serving of caviar. Delicacy was carried on a gold stretcher and served with custom-engraved mother-of-pearl spoons, produced to commemorate the occasion.
