PastaWiz is new Harry Potter-themed restaurant in Brooklyn. As its name suggest, it’s pasta restaurant designed as “wizard magical place”. The man behind this Williamsburg-based restaurant is Alex Dimitrov.
“We decided Pasta Wiz, it’s like a wizard magical place, so we’ve made it Harry Potter-style. We decorated in a Harry Potter-style,” he said.
The place features medieval-like light fixtures, banquet tables, big leather chairs, wax candles, goblets on the tables and a sorting hat.
When talking about food, all of the organic pasta is made in-house daily, making it as tasty as any feast at Hogwarts. If pasta isn’t your thing, the menu also features healthy smoothies (including Dark Lord and Forbidden Forest options), salads, and desserts (think ice cream, cakes, and crepes). And while Butterbeer isn’t found on the menu, hot drinks, infused waters, and juices (including various “Potions”) are available to wet your whistle.
Except the magical name, the menu is more than an ordinary. But, Dimitrov explained that the most “magical” part of the menu is the three-to-five minute turnaround time for customers when they order a pasta dish.
