Regarded by many as the best Ferrari’s car of all time, and at the auctions breaks records prices. The last in the series has an additional value – the car was owned by music legend Eric Clapton.
The car was manufactured in 1991 and to date has collected only 10,860 km. An absolute classic is one of 1,311 produced, and is considered one of the most popular supersport cars of its time. It was produced from 1987 to 1992, while a special racing version from the Ferrari drive went out a couple of years later.
F40 is, as its name suggests, came on the 40th anniversary of the company and was presented as the fastest, most powerful and most expensive in Ferrari’s history. It is powered by a centrally located 2.9 V8 twin-turbo engine with 478hp.
