Belmond Royal Scotsman takes you to the heart of the Highlands, where you travel through landscapes of pine-clad mountains, reflected in mirror-still lochs. Life on board is relaxed yet indulgent. Unwind in your luxurious private cabin, or trade stories with your fellow travellers in the Observation Car. With just 40 guests, this is top choice for those travelling Scotland in intimate, inimitable style.
The only missing thing is spa. But, good new for all travelers. Belmond trains has announced the launch of a Bambford spa carriage onboard the Belmond Royal Scotsman in April.
The Bamford Haybarn Spa is the perfect pampering retreat after a day exploring the Highlands. Designed using sustainable wood from Scotland and the Cotswolds, the car’s two single treatment rooms are a haven of peace. Relax and soak up serene views of the passing countryside from the picture windows.
Individually-crafted treatments are designed to connect the mind, body and soul with the natural world. Choose from the Bamford Bespoke Facial, a 55-minute ritual that aims to restore, rejuvenate and repair the skin, the Bamford De-Stress Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, plus manicures and pedicures using the eco-natural Kure Bazaar range.
Bamford’s bespoke treatments are inspired by the beauty of nature, using botanical ingredients with holistic therapies to ensure a truly blissful experience.
The Bamford Haybarn Spa carriage will be the first of its kind onbaord a Belmond train and will launch on April 17th, at the start of the 2017 season.
