After five years since the launch, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta got a successor in the form of the 812 Superfast, whose official presentation will be held in early March in Geneva. Ferrari 812 Superfast is powered by a new 6.5 liter V12 engine with 588 kW/800hp at 8500 r/min. and 718 Nm at 7000 r/min., which means 123hp per liter displacement. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via the gearbox with double clutch. Manufactory states that 812 Superfast from 0 to 100 km/h accelerates in 2.9 seconds, can achieve “more than 340 km/h”, and that the average fuel consumption is14.9 l/100 km (CO2 emissions is 340 grams per km).
The car weighs 1525 kg, with the weight distribution 46% front and 54% rear.
Also mentioned EPS (el. Servo) Side Slip Control (SSC), the latest infotainment system, as well as a sportier, more radical appearance of the cockpit (with a new, sportier and ergonomic seats and a new steering wheel).
As far as dimensions, 812 Superfast is 4657 mm long, 1971 mm wide and 1276 mm high.
Finally, there is a new color for the exterior, called Rosso Settanta.
