The ‘747 Mirage’ six person luxury yacht continues the approach Austrian boat manufacturer, Frauscher, started with the previously launched ‘858 Fantom’, both designed by studio KISKA and Thomas Gerzer, with hydrodynamic expert Harry Miesbauer. The features of the ‘747 Mirage’ are more radical however. Not only are they suggestive of supercar design, they also emphasize Frauscher’s racing heritage.
The yacht’s cockpit allows travellers to revel in luxury. The driving position features a center console made to measure with the two seats for the pilot and co-pilot; sat behind them is a leather sofa for passengers whose backrest can be lowerered, further broadening the sun pad located at the stern. In the bow area, guests can relax in the sun on two luxury pillows. With an optional folding table that allows owners to choose whether to keep it raised, or lower it to extract even more precious sunbathing area.
What could be more important than a cold drink on board? On this yacht, simply reach into 30-litre chiller drawer under the seat. The chiller is activated by a switch on the console. Frauscher uses marine-certified equipment only, ensuring a maximum service life for all components, with audio manufacturers Clarion,BOSE or Fusion Electronics.
Other interior refinements include bluetooth, iPod, iPhone and USB-compatibility, and bespoke audio equipment can be specified by all boating music fans.
Climbing into the water and back on board is easy thanks to premium bathing ladder with three retractable teak steps. Behind the sheer luxury of the yachts from Frauscher stands not only a wealth of technological know-how and innovative power, but 80 years of solid tradition in building fine boats.
