Futuristic enough for James Bond and still real enough to look cool in it! Meet AKOYA by LISA Airplanes.
AKOYA is a two-seat amphibious skiplane with a unique design and a wealth of features that will delight those who love to travel and explore. Featuring patented Multi-Accesstechnology, this personal aircraft can take off and land as easily on water or snow as on the ground. In addition, folding wings enable it to be stored or transported with ease. Besides its unequalled versatility, this light airplane has impressive performance.
This amphibious aircraft is equipped with Seafoils, a LISA Airplanes patent. The AKOYA is the only airplane in the world with hydrofoils. These two underwater ‘fins’ allow this sleek airplane to quickly lift its fuselage out of the water and provide stability and comfort during take-off acceleration and when landing on the water surfaces. Compared with traditional amphibious airplanes, the AKOYA has neither float, hull, nor step, and this feature considerably improves aerodynamics and flight performance. The Seafoils provide better tolerance for the airplane in choppy sea condition.
From either ground, water or snow, this light sport aircraft can reach 135 knots and thakes its passangers, up to 1000 miles away, using just as much fuel as a Toyota Corolla.
