The new generation of Porsche Panamera had the official promotion last year, and some media had earlier announced that at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show will also debut its new variant of the bodywork. It is now definitively confirmed since Porsche released the first set of official pictures and details of Panamera called Sport Turismo (the same name had Porsche concept from 2012).
Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo
The look of Panamera Sport Turismo is largely inspired by the mentioned concept, which means that such Panamera is characterized by long deck, different C-pillar and altered the rear of with a little more space than regular Panamera.
As standard Panamera, Panamera Sport Turismo is made on the MSB platform, and all versions have the drive to all four wheels.
Panamera Sport Turismo has the same length (5049 mm), width (1937 mm) and wheelbase (2950 mm) as well as the ordinary Panamera, but it is higher by 5 mm (1428 mm). Luggage capacity ranges from 520 to 1390 liters (with the rear seats folded down). Here notes that a hybrid version of the E-Hybrid Sport Turismo has a trunk of 425 liters.
Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo
To customers will be offered the following versions:Panamera 4 Sport Turismo, Panamera 4S Sport Turismo, Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Sport Turismo, Panamera 4S Diesel Sport Turismo and Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo.
Most powerful offer is Panamera Sport Turismo, which has a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine with 404 kW/550hp and 770 Nm, as well as Panamera 4S Diesel Sport Turismo with a 4.0 liter V8 diesel engine with 310 kW/422hp and 850 Nm.
Perhaps most interesting is the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Sport Turismo that combines a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 gasoline 330hp, electric motor with 100 kW (136 hp), lithium-ion batteries and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, where combined power system is 462hp and 700 Nm of torque. The car can also move only on the electric motor, to 50 km at speeds up to 140 km/h.
