The company Rolls-Royce full steam working on the project Cullinan, which will produce not only the first sports pickup unit, but also the brand’s first station wagon. More accurately, the first official station wagon in RR company’s history, because there are several copies presented by different tuning house. And now just one such model is coming up for auction.
What you see in the gallery represent Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud from 1959, which was transformed into a wagon. This is something that Goodwood has never offered from the factory, but will soon be able, because it will be the company’s first ever station wagon model which will come down from the conveyor belt.

This conversion is only one of the four ever created in collaboration with H. J. Muliner, who would later become a private car in the garage, and with a specialist in London Harold Radford, but it is only one of the two models with short wheel base. While the lower part of the body remained largely unchanged, the upper half was given extended roof line to offer more cargo space, which is especially favorable for hunting, and later turned into a standard for most Coupé models.

This particular specimen was delivered to one buyer in Wichita through the ocean liner Queen Elizabeth. The car is equipped with a factory sunroof, adjusted seats, including rear bench seat that can be folded. Specially designed model comes in a classic green body color and green shades in interior along with floor mats that come in pairs.
The car will be sold as part of Sotheby’s RM auction next month at Amelia Island, complete with extra luggage space and freshness as a result of the recent completion of the restoration process.
It is estimated that this beautiful car would be sold for about $425,000.
