For the first time ever, London Eye will be turned into an exclusive pop-up hotel room. So what’s the catch? British most popular paid-for tourist attraction will convert one of its pods into hotel room, but for one night only – March 30.
TripAdvisor Rentals have launched the Eye Spy a Home in the Sky competition which will gift two people the opportunity to sleep in a pod 443 feet above the Capital’s streets with a 360° view.
According to TripAdvisor Rentals, the pod will be ‘inspired by a five-star forest getaway and will combine ‘natural elements with urban style’. It will be simply decorated with furniture by homewares brand Wayfai and will have a ‘penthouse luxe meets jungle cool’ vibe.
The lucky couple will enjoy dinner and a bottle of champagne during their evening stay and the famous attraction will be staffed throughout the night. They’ll also be able to contact attendees below, in case they need to use the loo or stretch their legs.
That’s not all. They will also be provided with a complimentary three-night stay in a three-bedroom London home available through TripAdvisor’s rental division, so they can pop off and explore all the landmarks they’ve seen from the sky afterwards.
