New Zealand’s most expensive hotel suite is opened. If you want to spend night at the penthouse suite, part of Eichardt’s Private Hotel in Queenstown, you’ll need to splash out $10,000.
The development, which opens December 15, is a new addition to the already swanky property that was recently named the country’s best luxury suite hotel by the World Luxury Hotel Awards. This penthouse is part of a $6 million expansion of the historic hotel, which also includes a new 200-seat restaurant.
The suite boasts an unobstructed view of Queenstown’s breathtaking vistas. Exquisitely designed, the interior is beautifully appointed with sumptuous leather sofas and fully automated lighting, heating and entertainment systems. The stunning kitchen features Gaggenau and Sub Zero appliances, a granite island bench and further mountain views.
The expansive terrace complete with a generously sized spa pool, fireplace and fully equipped outdoor kitchen, provides the perfect venue to entertain with ease. A further two brand new Lake View Suites located on the level below offer the flexibility to host additional guests.
Of course, $10,000 NZD doesn’t just get you a great suite and a chef. Your dedicated 24-hour butler will escort you via private elevator to the Penthouse where you will enjoy every luxury, including pre-dinner cocktails served in-suite, Krug Champagne, and an excellent selection of Moet & Hennessy spirits replenished daily. Naturally breakfast is included, as is your private chef.
Targeting the discerning and wealthy is all very well, but for most of us it sound like dream.
