Plvs Vltra is the 74-metre (241.14ft) Amels 242 motor yacht built last year by Dutch luxury yacht builder Amels in Netherlands at their Vlissingen shipyard. The yacht’s interior has been designed by Andrew Winch, while for its exterior was in charge Tim Heywood. Plvs Vltra is sleek, slender and elegant with a distinctly streamlined profile.
She features a displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks.
She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant. This luxury yacht is also fitted with ‘zero speed stabilizers’ which work at anchor, increasing on-board comfort when the yacht is stationary, particularly in rough waters.
Tim Heywood’s masterwork has carved a subtle, elegant and contemporary style with a streamlined profile, which wraps around a spacious layout; most notably of which is the 240 square-metre (2,580ft) Owner’s Deck.
The elongated Main Deck’ aft’s 180 square-metre (1,900 sq ft) also makes for an impressive entertainment area with bar, dance floor and incredibly inviting 6.5 metre (21ft) infinity pool.
Twelve guests are accommodated with two generously sized Main Deck VIP suites and 3 Lower Deck Guest Suites with direct access to the full-beam wellness centre and folding beach platform.
Powered by 2 diesel engines and propelled by her twin screw propellers Motor yacht Plvs Vltra is capable of a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 155,000 litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12.5 knots. Her water tanks store around 38,000 litres of fresh water.
