World airlines are competing how to pamper their clients. Expensive apartments, the best food and drink, luxury sets that include expensive cosmetics and clothes, all this belongs to the domain of animation and to retain clientele.
Latest news on this subject coming from the US Delta Airlines, which enhances its premium service. In cooperation with the famous Italian brand Alessi, represent a range of products for the decoration of the table and serve food on planes, called Alessi For Delta Collection.
The new collection is part of a multi-billion worth of investments that should improve all the services of the airline. Among other things, the company will improve seats entertainment systems, meals and much more.
“With nearly 100 years of experience in creating innovative items for serving food, brand Alessi was a natural choice for Delta,” said Alberto Alessi, President of Alessi.
“Within our company we have met many incredible designersin order to create an innovative contemporary collection intended for flights in airplanes.”
This fantastic collection is comprised of glasses, cutlery, porcelain plates, stainless steel serving tools, salt and pepper shakers and tabletop accessories like napkin rings and bread baskets.
Each design is created by six renowned designers (Patricia Urquiola, Bouroullec Brothers, Stefano Giovannoni, Campana Brothers, Kristina Lassus, and Miriam Mirri) who create for the brand Alessi.
This initiative will start taking over the fleet beginning of april 1st.
