House in New York’s Queens neighborhood where the US president Donald Trump spent his childhood was sold to an anonymous bidder for $2,14 million, which is a great price for that area. That house, which Trump’s father Fred built in 1940 in an affluent part of Queens, was home to the current President of the United States during the first four years of his life, and that address is mentioned in his birth certificate.

Tudor-styled two-storey house with red brick, was sold at auction at a price 54 percent higher than its selling price was in December, when one real estate investor paid $1,39 million for it.
Responding to a question about the house in a US television show “En-Bi-Si” in September, then presidential candidate Trump said he was sad that the house was put up for sale.
“I want to buy it,” he said then.
Misha Haghani, owner of Paramount Realty USA, which handled the sale, refused to reveal the identity of the customer, but noted that “this doesn’t mean that it’s not personal Trump”.
He didn’t want to reveal neither the number of bids that are received for a house of 186 square meters with five bedrooms and five bathrooms.

The previous owners of the house – the owners of the restaurant in Manhattan – were originally intended to put the house up for auction in mid-October, but was withdrawn from the market when they saw the opportunity that Trump’s victory in the November elections increase its price.
Although modest in comparison with the current lavish Trump’s skyscraper on Fifth Avenue, his first home is now, however, part of American presidential history.
