The traditional Chinese shan shui landscape painting inspired Steve Leung to create the extravagant design with Swarovski crystals. In Chinese, the term shan shui refers to landscapes and is composed of the characters for mountain and water. Mountain landscapes, rivers and waterfalls are typical shan shui elements.

Steve Leung has given shan shui a contemporary twist for the Octagon and Squaro Crystals Edition, full of poetry and completely serene. It has resulted in a wonderful liaison between brilliant cut Swarovski crystals, whose arrangement subtly recreates mountain contours, and the finest leather that gently coats the Octagon pedestal washbasin and the Squaro Prestige bath panel. Leung has managed to unite natural premium materials with exquisite craftsmanship to create a design radiating self-confidence and sensuality while maximising the visual and tactile experience.
