Five years ago Louis Vutton partners with visionary designers to create Objets Nomades, a collection of travel-friendly furnishings and accessories. Since then the collection has constantly evolved and expanded, and for this year, the 162-year-old French luxury goods purveyor added 10 new pieces to this amazing furniture collection which will be presented during the Salone del Mobile at Milano Design Week, from April 14th to 19th.
9 established and upcoming designers reinvent Louis Vuitton’s Art of Travel with a collection of travel-inspired objects celebrating the encounter between savoir-faire and design.
From a hammock to living room furniture in precious Nomade leather; from a foldable bed to a Maracatu, the Objets Nomades take inspiration from Louis Vuitton’s Special Orders and pay tribute to the iconic products and signatures of the House. Each Objet embodies the same ideals: a love of the beauty of fine materials, the possibility of forms and carefully balanced proportions, complex and meticulous craftsmanship, and close attention to detail.
