In recent times, Rihanna become more engaged in the design rather than singing. She’s designed sneakers for Puma, sunglasses for Dior, footwear for Manolo Blahnik and even socks for Stance. Her latest fashion project is a jewelry line for Chopard.
The world-renowned signer and fashion icon has teamed with Caroline Scheufele, Chopard co-president and creative director, to produce a collection of jewels titled, “Rihanna ♥ Chopard.”
The limited-edition range co-designed by Riri comes in two parts: A minimal, geometric collection of delicate necklaces, rings, earrings and a bangle is made from ethical 18-carat Fairmined-certified rose gold accented with ceramic blocks in jungle green, while a “high jewelry” collection — a watch, chandelier earrings, and two ear clips are constructed from precious gemstones and diamonds. In fact, the aforementioned watch clocks in at a whopping 30.76 carats.
The pieces, available for preorder now, start at $1,460 for a simple rose gold ring, with several of the items only offering prices upon request.
The range will make its official debut at the Cannes Film Festival.
