Parisian studio MUB Design has revealed a dynamic new luxury mega yacht concept – the 85 metre Moea. Imagined by the acclaimed French designer and architect Mahjoub El Mahmoudi, is characterized by elegant lines and striking appearance.
Speaking to Boat International, lead designer Mahjoub El Mahmoudi said: “The yacht market is looking for a new product, notably in terms of design. Moea suits a clientele looking for a yacht out of the ordinary and wanting to stand out from what already exists on the market.”
The aluminium superstructure would be optimised to offer the maximum possible interior space, he added.
Accommodation is for up to 30 guests and the concept’s alluring amenities include a jacuzzi, swimming pools and the large screen at the back of the yacht on the main deck. Moea also hosts a nightclub, a fully equipped spa, a sports room, a gymnasium and a large aquarium.
The yacht will feature various accessories, such as a submarine and a dock for jetlevs, jet skis and sea sleds.
Moea will be powered by twin CAT 3516C engines providing her with a top speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots.
El Mahmoudi estimates that Moea could be built in a timeframe of less than 30 months for a total budget of $120 million.
