The modern and dynamic lines of the new AMEL 50 reflect the true spirit of the brand. Amel’s latest model of its range will be officialy launched at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2017. Amel 50 is a new design by Berret Racoupeau which encompasses all the Amel features which have made Amel synonymous with comfortable and safe blue water cruising into a 50′ cruising sloop with a new spacious interior layout.
The new layout has 3 cabins, L-shaped galley and large saloon with chart-table. Choices of fine interior timbers are available, Light Oak, Mahogany, American Walnut or the exotic Indian Rosewood.
She can accommodate six people, thanks to the two large cabins each with a double bed and one cabin with bunk beds. There is plenty of storage room; under the beds and the benches, in the wardrobes and lockers. The galley, positioned in the starboard passageway, offers a very generous living area in the saloon, maintaining optimal ergonomics.
The chart table is located to the left of the entryway and communicates directly with the entire saloon.
The heartbeat of the Amel 50, the Volvo D3-110 is housed in the unique centre engine room which is water tight, fully insulated from the boats interior and provides easy access for service. The central engine room is akin to a superyacht and houses all the boats machinery providing quiet enjoyment for all passengers.
Amel 50 is dedicated to ensuring carefree navigation on its yachts, making enjoyment and tranquillity at sea its top priority for owners.
Tools that facilitate navigation include electric sail furlers and winches, centralized controls in the cockpit and the self-tacking staysail. Navigation safety is ensured by the quality and ingenuity of Amel construction: rigid cover, deep, protected central cockpit, stainless steel handrail surrounding the deck.
