U-Boat’s C-Researcher series offers scientists, researchers, documentary makers and explorers the most outstanding submersibles ever built. Apart from the fact that these versatile submarines are ideally suited for research, their view, efficiency and speed make them also perfect for those who simply wish take in the views of the deep sea.
The five different submarines in the C-Researcher series let private explorers and researcher pick the most suitable submersible for their mission objectives.
Specifically, the C-Researcher 2 (models 500 and 2000) can go to depths of 500 meters or 2,000 meters with one pilot and one passenger. With 95% of our oceans still uncharted, you are bound to set course for the discovery of many wonders.
As with all C-Researcher submarines, no compromises are made in safety, design or functionality. Assisted by Computational Flow Dynamics (CFD) software, every curve is designed to maximize performance and hydrodynamics. The result, an elite submarine that is the deepest diving private submarine available with a fully acrylic pressure hull.
The company says the sub has an 18-hour operating time. In addition, 62-kWh of battery capacity, combined with six thrusters, will make piloting efficient, at 3 knots of speed. An automatic trim weight system is aboard, too.
U-Boat Worx has also three other new models in this series. All three models are three-person with different depth: 480, 1100 and 1700 meters.
