Only a few Mustang models, new or old, can evoke so much enthusiasm as Shelby. And one copy that proves the rule just gets its place in an auction. This is a model Shelby GT350-H from1966, best known in its time, but now, as a Rent-A-Racer.
Made for Hertz, the GT350-H is a very potent car which people can rent from local agencies, not with all the benefits they get from the modern Mustang models of today, but with the power that is definitely comparable.
GT350-H has a V8 engine of 4.7 liters, paired with three-stage automatic transmission. It is Shelby from head to toe after Hertz finished with it, the manufacturer repaired it, as everyone else in line, and sent back to the market, selling it on the open public auction.
Ford and Shelby created about 1,000 such models in 1966, while the vast majority came in black with gold sporty lines.
