The quest for eternal life isn’t a new thing … Each year, billions of dollars are spent on research in the field of science that deals with the extension of life, and is also known as anti-aging experimental gerontology. A small start-up company called Ambrosia believes that there is a very simple and direct way to slow down aging and “cheating” death. On Recode conference in California, Jesse Karmazin, founder of this biotech start up company talked and discussed about his completely crazy idea. Ambrosia company believes that the key to “eternal life” hiding in young blood, that is. that the blood of young people can significantly help older.
They charge about $ 8,000 for blood transfusion from people with less than 25 years.
About a hundred people applied for this transfusion, Karmazin said at the conference. Everyone over 35 years old can become their client, but “youngest” transfusion recipients are in the age of “young” retirees. He also stressed that the various people signed up for this study.
This company finds blood supply from blood banks, who sell blood to pharmaceutical companies. However, he made it clear that they do not claim “cure” aging. This is currently only an experiment, with which they hope to create a successful anti-aging methods.
