In 2000 Chanel introduced J12 timepiece – the company’s first watch crafted in high-tech ceramic. It was also the first Chanel’s model that was water resistant to 200 meters, considered a unisex watch. Now, 17 years later, Chanel presented a new version of its iconic J12 timepiece – the Mademoiselle J12. Its engaging dial features an illustrated version of Mademoiselle Chanel, dressed in a suit with a hat to match with articulated arms indicating the hours and minutes resting above a black lacquer dial.
The Mademoiselle J12 is powered by an automatic movement featuring hours, minutes and 42 hours of power reserve, and is water resistant up to 200 meters. The ceramic bracelet has a steel triple folding buckle.
This limited edition of 555 pieces measures 38mm and is available in black high-tech ceramic and steel or in white high-tech ceramic and steel, also numbering 555 pieces.
Chanel’s new timepiece will be available for sale onward June 201, and will cost you €6,900 ($7,762) in both the white and black versions.
