Last year, at Baselworld 2016, Hublot demonstrated once again its concept of “fusion“, its unique approach to blending different materials, which resulted with the Classic Fusion Berluti line. In honour of Berluti’s 120th anniversary these pieces encapsulated the inimitable style of the famous shoemaker in a watch for the first time. They used patinated leather for both the straps as well as the dial – creating one of the most appealing creations from the brand.

Today, the same concept is applied on a chronograph, the Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph Berluti. That was evidently a more complex task, as the dial features two counters at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock, craftsmen had to go back to the drawing board and develop new practices to ensure the leather could be made stable despite these new additions.
The result: the new Classic Fusion Chronograph Berluti, available with a 45 mm case in a choice of two finishes, Scritto King Gold and Scritto All Black. Limited to 250 pieces of each, both models feature hand-crafted straps, presented in a Berluti bespoke box containing a complete Berluti leather care set. Thanks to Hublot, the expertise of the Berluti leather is now worn on the wrist.

The Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph Berluti Scritto watches will come in a large presentation box that is lined with the Berluti’s Venezia leather. And inside, apart from the watch, owners will find wax and brushes to help keep their straps in tip-top condition.
The Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph Berluti Scritto in 18k King Gold will be limited to 250 pieces and will be priced at $36,700, while the Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph Berluti Scritto in black ceramic will also be limited to 250 pieces and will be priced at $16,700.
