What happens when graffiti artist’s work find its place in watchmaking? Swiss independent watchmaker Manufacture Royale has unveiled its “street art” inspired collection of one-of-a-kind watches. The result is the collection which taps into contemporary artistic expression, in both uniqueness and technical innovation, while paying homage to its roots.
Each ADN Street Art timepiece is in fact a unique piece with a concept found in Voltaire’s Philosophical Dictionary: “a chaos of clear ideas.” This phrase illustrates the notion of a visually “clear” method of telling time offset by the “chaos” of individualized creative artistic expression.

The composition is created on the computer, you print it on a special film which is then placed in water. The film dissolves, leaving the ink floating on the surface. Then you put the bridges into the water and the ink adheres to them. Each watch is an individual composition, with the art agreed with the customer.
The Swiss manual-wind Manufacture Royale in-house caliber MR10 makes everything tick, a stunning skeleton movement with 15 jewels, 21,600 vph and an impressive power reserve of 108 hours backing everything up.
