Dutch design and engineering combined with Italian flair and craftsmanship. This is a brief description of the latest Manta 65 explorer yacht concept. This impressive 213-foot explorer yacht is the brainchild of Dutch design firm Marimecs and built by Italian shipyard Eurocraft. Accommodation is for 12 guests split between six cabins, with four doubles on the lower deck, a VIP suite forward on the main deck, and the owner’s cabin on the upper deck.
Other key features include an indoor dining area on the main deck, with space for all 12 guests to enjoy a meal around a rectangular dining table. The adjacent galley allows for quick and discrete service.
The large aft deck is ideal for tender storage, with plenty of room for loading superyacht water toys via a davit crane as well.
External relaxation options are plentiful, with a pair of sunloungers on the owner’s deck aft, an al fresco dining area on the bridge deck and superyacht spa pool on the sundeck.
The Manta yacht series ranges from the Manta 30 (98 feet) to the new flagship, Manta 65, which is the largest model. It is powered by a pair of 2,011hp engines for a top speed of 16 knots and a maximum cruising range of 5,000 nautical miles at 13 knots, thanks to a total fuel capacity of 185,000 litres.
Other superyacht projects currently under development at the Italian yard include the Eurocraft 44, which is due to hit the water next year.
