Thanks to Bonhams’ house, this year, at one auction, will be found famous models that dominated the rally in the 70s and 80s of the 20th century. Wealthy fans of classic rally model from the second half of the last century will have the opportunity on August 18th to come into possession of cars that have entered into the history of this competition.
At the auction organized by the specialized company Bonhams, there will be a collection of cars from the Group B Rally Championship that belongs to one owner.
The collection is dominated by Lancia models, and the first of three cars of this Italian manufacturer is Stratos HF Stradale from 1975.
This model triumphed in the World Rally Championship for three consecutive years in the mid-’70s, and the car that will be offered can be driven on public roads and has 12.609 km on its odometer.
In addition to this model, there is also Lancia 037 Stradale from 1983, a “civilian” version of the model that was the last rear-wheel-drive car to win a rally championship before taking the “all-wheel” four-wheel drive. This car has 9,342 km.
The third Lancia from this collection is Delta S4 Stradale from 1985, with a small mileage of 8,851 km.
There are also two Ford RS2000 from 1986, of which only 200 have been produced, and one of them is in the Evolution version.
This phenomenal collection rounded off by two cars from 1985, the legendary Audi Sport Quattro S1 and Peugeot 205 T16, with only 1,126 km.
