Armand de Brignac, a champagne which Jay Z promotes in his hits, is launching a new limited edition blend of Blanc de Noirs Assemblage Two, a champagne that was first promoted last year. The edition will be available in only 2333 bottles, so maybe such a famous star’s request has something to do with it. This edition of champagne is Cuvée made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, vintage 2008., 2009. and 2010.
Bottles of Blanc de Noirs Assemblage Two Champagne have to go into wine cellars for more than five years before they are released for sale, each numbered with a unique serial number. The hand-picked grape for the mixture comes from the best villages in which Pinot Noir grows – Bouzy Verzenay, Chigny-les-Roses, Ludes, and Rilly-la-Montagne.
Anyone better than Cattier family that owns Armand de Brignac, to select the best grapes, because it has 13 generations of this family in this business.
The harvest from 2008 was chosen due to refined acidity, 2009 due to texture, and 2010 due to green notes. When you try this mix you will realize that you feel the taste of grapefruit, eagle nails, peppermint with a touch of peach, apricot and cinnamon.
The limited edition Blanc de Noirs Assemblage Two costs $850 and is available for sale in selected stores around the world.
