Ducati entrusted its XDiavel model to the skillful hands of Belgian Fred Krugger, famous for his tailor-made models.
His task was to design a special edition of the Bologna firm’s blistering cruiser behemoth. Below is the final result, and you estimate whether the job was successfully completed.
The motorcycle is named Thiverval, along a small race track not far from Paris, and its premier will have this weekend on another, much more famous track – at Spa this weekend at the Bikers’ Classic event, which sees thousands of motorcyclists from across Europe descend on the Belgian circuit.
The heart of a motorcycle is a monstrous V-twin generator powered by XDdiavel. The aggregate is a central part of the creation, it is not hidden by the steel trellis frame, and the designers have taken special care to make the lines as easy as possible.
The fuel tank and the rear part are fully arranged, while the rear part contains a complex exhaust system and a new rear light design.
Ducati asked Krugger to keep the basic XDiavel DNA in his motorcycle, and its original far and combination of black and chrome elements perfectly emphasizes.
