Behind the project organized for collecting money for the pediatric hospital in Bielsko-Biala is Polish Monika Jaskólska who concluded that Tom Hanks should have FIAT 126p produced from 1973 to 2000 in the factory of the Italian company in Bielsko-Biala and long was one of the most popular cars in Poland.
After the purchase of the car, its restoration and modification was done free of charge in tuning Carlex Design, and the result is a unique example of a car with a leather-coated interior decorated with some very interesting details.
“There are two reasons for the satisfaction that we participated in this project: the humanitarian character and the fact that FIAT 126p was a symbol of our city and our youth,” said Damian Skotnicki, owner of Carlex Design.
All funds collected at a cheerful event where Jaskólska took off the veil from Hanks’s new car ended at the pediatric hospital’s account, and “Maluch” (as they called 126p in Poland) will soon go to Los Angeles.
