The auction house RM Sotheby’s will held an auction in Monterey where a collection of 13 Ferrari cars will be offered.
It is about models manufactured between 1961 and 2011. One of the most valuable is certainly the 250 GT SWB Berlinetta from 1961, one of only three cars that will be offered with a reserved price. The number of chassis is 2985, and the number of cars is 110 of only 165 copies ever produced. This is one of two cars in the entire collection that are not painted in the legendary Rosso Corsa Red, but in Argentino Metallic Gray. It is expected that the car will be sold at a price between $8,5 and $10 million.
A little less expensive, but still a rare car – 275 GTB / 4 Berlinetta by Scaglietti was produced in 1967. Its chassis number is 10147, imported in the US in 1967, and painted in red. In its original condition, it comes with complete documentation and Ferrari Classiche certificate. It is estimated that the new owner will pay $ 3,25 million for it.
Among the top 3 cars of the collection is Dino 206 GT from 1969. It is expected to sell between $650,000 and $750,000.
The collection includes the model F40 (1991), 599 GTO (2011), 512 BBi (1984), 575 Superamerica (2005), 420 Scuderia (2009), 308 GTB Vetroesina (1976) and 328 GTS (1989).
The auction will be held in Monterey, California, at the famous Pebble Beach Concourse d’Elegance, which begins on August 18th.
